Minus Celsius is an ice cream shop that was established in 2016 and located on 302 Grand Street. This shop carries rolled ice cream and has unlimited toppings included.

In Minus Celsius there are ten different flavors. There are flavors such as Crazy Cookie, which is vanilla ice cream with Oreos; Strawberry Fields, which is vanilla ice cream that contains strawberries; and Caramel Crunch, which is vanilla with caramel sugar cone and chocolate chips.

My all-time favorite is Crazy Cookie, but I recently just tried Caramel Crunch and I love it. I enjoyed it because it’s not just one flavor since there’s more than one ingredient, and the texture is smooth and creamy.

Rolled Ice Cream was invented in Thailand in 2009 and came to New York City a few years later. The process of making the ice cream is using a flat stainless steel machine to actually freeze the ice cream. Milk is used as a base and there are different ingredients incorporated with the milk. With a spatula they mix the ingredients to form a rectangle shape in order to roll the ice cream in a vertical way. Once done, they put the toppings on and enjoy!

Minus Celsius is a magnificent place to go with friends and family on a nice sunny day. It can be a little expensive, but it’s all worth it because their ice cream is amazing. I truly recommend it!
