This interview has been edited and condensed.
What is your favorite part of art?
The form of expression I get to use. The way that I feel about art is such a passion that it has something more than just drawing or painting [or creating in] different mediums. It’s a form of expressing yourself in different ways.
How often do you work on art or make art?
I work on my art every day.
What inspired you to start making art?
My mom inspires me. I started drawing at a very young age. It was scribbles, trains, or cars, but she taught me how to just draw random things when I was around three years old. Ever since then, I’ve been trying my best to just keep that going.
How long have you been making art, and does your mom do art too?

I started doing art when I was 2. She does art here and there, but not as broadly as me.
What is your favorite type of art?
I think either watercolor or drawing.
Can you describe your favorite watercolor drawing?
The first one that comes to mind was a very recent one in a two-page spread. It was a Galactus Silver Surfer watercolor.
