“Naruto” Perfect for Binge-Watching
Anime Review
“Naruto” is hands down one of the most well-known anime to start since the beginning of this pandemic. As one of the best shows to watch when you’re trying to find a genre to binge, I suggest watching this masterpiece of animation.
The noticeable elements of this show are the characters. For starters we’ll talk about the main character, Naruto Uzumaki. Naruto is a goofy blonde-haired little kid with a demonic fox spirit trapped inside his stomach. It was sealed there by his father, but you’ll have to watch the show to find out why!
His most notable enemy is the orphan and last member of the Uchiha clan, Sasuke Uchiha. He’s a lot like Naruto in that he’s equally as motivated and stubborn, however he has a special clan ability that allows him to use his eyes as weapons called Sharingan.
These two fight a lot, so much so that it’s been considered as some of the greatest cinematic fights throughout all of anime. A personal favorite of mine is the very first fight between these two on the waterfall. You can see a lot of conflicted emotion throughout the fight, showing how Sasuke and Naruto really are good friends and that they’ll practically kill each other because of how much they care about their bond.
Unfortunately “Naruto” does have downsides as a show: the tedious filler missions and Sakura as a character. She offers little to no value to the show and is mostly in the spotlight whenever there is a mission episode.
