It’s weird that Generations Z and Alpha can take something very serious and turn it into something funny but also so stupid. Such as the discussion around Sean “Diddy” Combs, who’s facing many criminal charges and is being held in prison awaiting trial. The kids are making fun of his infamous parties that consisted of an odd amount of baby oil. They’re even protesting for Combs to be free from prison.
When There’s More Money, There’s More Problems
Combs has been charged with racketeering and sex trafficking. Now he is being held in the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn until trial.
Extra reported that he faces a lawsuit from former girlfriend Casandra Ventura for domestic abuse. A security camera tape from a hotel shows Combs pulling her to the ground and kicking her.
Can You Survive Five Nights with Diddy?
Combs has become one of the biggest memes in recent times because of his actions, such as his infamous parties that consisted of all white attire and lots of baby oil. As the great LeBron James said, “Ain’t no party like a Diddy party,” which is now heard throughout the hallways in Pace.
Combs is officially a part of brain rot. You might be wondering what brain rot is. It’s exactly what you think it is. Stupid jokes or memes that feel like you’re losing brain cells every time it’s repeated.
Brain rot originates mostly from iPad kids who are chronically online or, in other words, generation Alpha. But the whole blame of brain rot does not just come from Generation Alpha, but also Generation Z. Things related to this are John Pork, FreakBob, and skibidi toilet. Even the phrase “what the sigma” and “rizz” are brain rot.
She Knows
Combs has now been dragged into the conspiracy theory side of TikTok alongside his celebrity friends Jay-Z and Beyoncé.
The theory is that Combs, Jay-Z, and Beyoncé had all worked together to get themselves on the top no matter who was harmed. They all were born on the 4th day of their month.
They also had all allegedly been involved in the deaths of Michael Jackson, Lisa “Left-eye” Lopes and Aaliyah. All three died on the 25th day of their death month. This conspiracy theory is pointed out by J-Cole’s song “She Knows,” where he repeats “she knows,” which sound very similar to Jay-Z first name and Beyoncé last name (Shawn and Knowles).
I personally think it’s a stupid conspiracy theory, but at the same time I quote it a lot because it’s funny. Especially when me and my friends “thank” Beyoncé because if you don’t she will come for you and make your life a living hell.
Mama There’s a Diddy Behind You
There’s no denying that the allegations against Combs are serious and horrific. But there are people who think otherwise.
The #diddywalkout on TikTok consisted mostly of high school boys who decided to ”protest” for the freedom of Combs. The real reasoning behind this walkout was not an act of actual support for Combs, but was done to make fun of the whole situation and draw attention to themselves because all the attention on social media was anything Combs was a part of. So it was the perfect ploy for them to grab a bunch of views.
It seems like this is an obsession but really just a trend. Every week a person who has been caught in a controversy is then uploaded on all social media, turned into a meme, and then forgotten about because a new person has a new controversy, making the cycle repeat.
